5 Minute Makeup for Hectic Mornings

August 27, 2019

Let’s be honest, we don’t all have an hour to spare in the morning to perfect our eyeliner technique.

Heck, most of us don’t even have 10 minutes!

If you’re short on time, but you still want to look and feel your best, use this quick makeup guide and you’ll be out the door in minutes. Guaranteed.

Step 1: CC Cream/Tinted Moisturizer
Foundation can be a pain to apply in the morning. Between thick formulas and products that require special brushes, foundation is not our favorite for quick and easy makeup.

Having said that, an even complexion can go a long way to helping you feel your best, and that’s why we always recommend every lady have a CC cream or tinted moisturizer on hand.

You can simply apply the product with your fingers, it won’t go on heavy, and most high-quality CC creams/tinted moisturizers actually have skincare benefits in them as well.

Step 2: Concealer
If you have any blemishes or you’re dealing with dark under-eye circles, we highly recommend the use of a good concealer.

You don’t have to use a lot, but a little goes a long way, especially in this case when you’re using such a light-coverage foundation.

Step 3: Bronzer and/or Blush
To keep you from looking ghostly, a light dusting of bronzer is never a bad idea.

Apply to the perimeter of your face to bring some warmth, or if you prefer more of a rosy look, feel free to apply your favorite blush to the apples of your cheeks.

Decide how much time you have and plan accordingly, but in general, a light dusting of either (or both!) should be quick and easy.
