Halloween will be here before we know it! Help your kiddo create an awesome Halloween costume with just a few items found in their closet.
Stranger Things Sensation
With the second season coming out, Stranger Things Halloween costumes will be all the rage come October 31st. Dress up your son or daughter as one of the gang using ‘80s style clothes and accessories. A pair of high-top sneakers, a foam trucker hat, a retro screen tee, a flannel shirt, a denim jacket, a vintage-style backpack, and a pair of jeans or colored chinos complete this cool costume. If they’d rather be Eleven instead, all you need is a pastel pink dress, a blue bomber jacket, a pair of white knee-high socks, and white slip-on sneakers. Add a blonde wig and pink hair bow for extra authenticity.
Cute Kitty Cat
Does your child have a pair of leopard print leggings? Then you’re already halfway there. Add a sweater or long sleeved top, a stylish fur vest, ballet flats, kitty cat ears, and a bit of face paint and voila! Here, kitty-kitty!
This adorable literary character just melts our hearts. With a pair of cuffed dark blue jeans, a red beanie, a red and white striped long sleeved shirt or sweater, and some hipster fashion glasses your son or daughter can effortlessly become Where’s Waldo. Super cute.
The Michelin Man
This chunky costume is so precious for the really little ones. Just dress your tiny tot in a white snowsuit or white puffer jacket, white or blue joggers or leggings, a white or blue knit hat, and a pair of knit booties or comfy sneakers. If it’s cold out, add a white scarf and mittens. So puffy and sweet!
Rosie the Riveter
Can you say girl power? All she needs is a pair of high-waisted jeans, a red bandana for her hair, a front-tied chambray shirt with the sleeves rolled, and a pair of fierce military boots. Add some extra attitude with red lipstick and eyebrow pencil.
Who knew regular clothes could make such awesome Halloween costumes? We bet they’ll even come up with some great costumes all on their own...
